Understanding the Journey

Every participant progresses through three key stages throughout their journey with RMC Asia. Each stage represents an important milestone and is supported by dedicated teams responsible for guidance, coordination, and support.
Applicant
An Applicant is an individual who has applied for a Cultural Exchange Program through RMC Asia.

Candidate
A Candidate is an Applicant who has completed registration requirements, signed the Participation Agreement, and made a partial or full program payment.

Participant
A Participant is a Candidate who has accepted an internship offer from a Host Organization through RMC Asia.

From Start to Finish

How the Process Works

Every journey follows a structured process designed to prepare participants for a successful international experience while ensuring support at every stage.

APPLICATION SUBMISSION

Handled by the Sales Team

The process begins when an individual submits an application and CV to RMC Asia. During this stage, the individual is considered an Applicant, and the application undergoes an initial review to assess eligibility, program suitability, and general qualifications before proceeding to the next phase.

PRE-SCREENING INTERVIEW

Handled by the Sales Team

As an Applicant, the individual participates in a structured virtual discussion to explore educational background, professional objectives, availability, and program preferences. This stage allows RMC Asia to evaluate suitability while providing guidance on available opportunities and program expectations.

DOCUMENTS & PROFILE PREPARATION

Handled by the Sales Team

Applicants are required to submit and verify the necessary documents to establish a complete profile. Upon fulfilling the registration requirements and activating the profile, the individual progresses from Applicant to Candidate status and becomes eligible program placement opportunities.

PLACEMENT MATCHING & INTERVIEWS

Handled by the Program Operations Team

As a Candidate, the individual is introduced to suitable Host Organizations based on qualifications, preferences, and program requirements. The Program Operations team coordinates communications, interview arrangements, and placement-related activities throughout this stage.

OFFER CONFIRMATION

Handled by the Program Operations Team

The Candidate stage continues through the interview and selection process. Once selected by a Host Organization, a formal offer is issued for review and acceptance. Upon signing the necessary agreements and confirming the placement, the individual officially transitions from Candidate to Participant status.

ONBOARDING & VISA PROCESS

Handled by the Onboarding Services Team

As a Participant, the onboarding phase begins. This stage includes visa documentation coordination, compliance preparation, administrative support, and pre-departure guidance to facilitate international mobility and program readiness.

Following travel preparations, Participants arrive in their host destination and begin the transition into their placement environment. Coordination continues between RMC Asia, the Host Organization, and the Participant to support a smooth arrival and program commencement.

Throughout the duration of the program, Participants receive ongoing support from RMC Asia. This includes communication assistance, documentation coordination, liaison support with Host Organizations, and guidance on program-related matters until successful completion of the experience.
